Right now it is midnight and I had to write this now because I am all hyped up on the Gilmore Girls revival. Before I saw it, I thought it would be more of a goodbye message to the fans. I thought that it would be the final season that we all wanted, but I was mistaken.
*** SPOILERS AHEAD ***
Let me just say, this season was everything! I loved the original series of Gilmore girls and this season just reminded me of how much I enjoyed it. What I really enjoyed were the little details that were in this season that only true fans of Gilmore Girls would know and love. A few are:
- They had the town performer in stars hallow with his famous guitar.
- They brought back the Black, White, and Red theater.
- HEP ALIEN was back and playing together.
- When Lorelai smells snow, that made me all types of happy.
- The thing I loved most was that they included all the people that made the show.
I love the people of stars hallow. I loved seeing Ms. Patty and Babette, Gypsy fixing cars, Taylor running town meetings, Michel and Sookie banter, and let us not forget about Kirk and his life. It was just great and it looked like the cast never skipped a beat. Watching the 4 episodes I smiled, laughed, cried, and remembered all the great times this show had. Now I want to re watch Gilmore Girls from the very beginning for the 5th time.
A lot of things were the same but there was a lot of change and growing also. All three women had to find there way and some of them are still doing it. What I loved, was how we saw them each take a journey through these episodes.
Even though I loved the show so much I wasn’t happy with the ending. As I said before, I thought it was going to be more of a final season but the cliff hanger at the end showed me there is more to come. Pregnant! I can’t believe she is pregnant! When Rory was asking her dad if her mom made the right decision, I thought it was for her book but now I know it was for her. Will Rory and Logan get together because of this or will it be like Luke and Lorelai but with Jess and Rory? I have no idea but I can’t wait to find out.
