Love! Love! LOVE!
If you couldn’t already tell, I loved Stranger Things 2! I have been waiting all year for this premiere and it was worth it. It came out on Friday, October 27th. I watched the whole season on that day. I took very limited breaks because I couldn’t help not knowing what was going to happen next. I know this post is so late. I meant to post it sooner but I was super busy and kept putting it off. I didn’t know if I should still write the post but this show is so good, how could I not? Anyway, I will be talking about what I liked and what I didn’t about this most recent season. These are just my opinions so feel free to disagree if you want.
Spoilers Ahead!
I was apprehensive about the new cast members for this season. I never really like any new cast members for my favorite shows but eventually they grow on me and so did many of the newbies except for… Billy. I do know that the show needed an Antagonist and I have to admit he was a good one. I really did hate Billy, but that only means that everyone is doing their job right for this show. The one addition that really got me was Bob. I didn’t love Bob at first but by the end I was routing for him. By that time, it was too late. I did not give Bob the love he deserved and I regret it because of his sacrifice. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry.
There were some sad moments but I had a few favorites too.
- Eleven’s new look. – She looked amazing in her slicked back hair and leather jacket. It was unexpected but in a good way. I hope this look makes it into the next season.
- Steve and Dustin’s relationship. – I loved seeing this mentor/ older brother relationship between them. I actually enjoyed Steve’s character in this season and I am ready to see more next season.
- Justice for Barb. – In this season, it seemed that people cared more about Barb and what happened to her. She finally got a funeral and the people who were responsible for her death were held accountable. All I have to say about is that IT IS ABOUT TIME!
These are just a couple of the favorite moments from this past season. Overall, if you didn’t know already I love this show and the cast behind it. This is just a few snippets of the show so if you enjoyed this post then you should check it out. The first 2 seasons are on Netflix so go binge it now!
