You all know that I have been addicted to the Marvel TV shows. The newest season of Jessica Jones is out and I had to watch it. This review is a little late, but better late than never.
*Spoilers Ahead*
The majority of this season is about Jessica’s past and how she got her supernatural abilities. We find out who made her the way she was and how it happened. We also see more of her past life before she became Alias Investigations.
Another big part of this season was about Trish. Jessica’s friend Trish is obsessed with Jessica’s past and how to become powerful like she did. I loved Trish in the first season but in this one I hated her character. I felt like she was very selfish in this one. She put herself and a lot of other people in danger. She wanted to feel powerful and she just let it consume her and almost lost her life in the process.
A huge plot twist in this season was that Jessica’s mother is actually alive. I was not expecting that and her mom (in my opinion) is completely crazy. I know she was made that way but she is scary. She has some huge anger problems that couldn’t be controlled.
I wonder what will happen to Trish and Jessica because their relationship is very rocky at the moment. I love their sisterhood and seeing them break a part was breaking my heart. I am excited to see what the next season will hold.
