A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Final Season

I finally watched the last season of A Series of Unfortunate Events. As I was watching I didn’t realize this would be the last season until I read some article about it. I did hear that they were going to be ending soon but i thought there would be another season, well I was wrong. I do appreciate that they are not trying to extend this show as long as they possibly can. Instead of dragging each book out, they decided to give each book the desired length it needed. I find that refreshing in a show.

What did I think of the 3rd season?

I thought it was OK. I think it may have been my favorite season out of the three. I think the last couple episodes made me really get into the show. I read these books when i was younger and that is the reason that i decided to watch the show. I also watched the movie with Jim Carey when that came out and my sister and I liked the movie. I didn’t like the show as much as the books but I did want to finish it to see how it ended. I do think that this is a good kid show though.

Overall, I would say that it was an O.K. show in my opinion. Not the best I have ever seen but also not terrible. I do think the cast is great and the basis of the show was good. Would I watch it again? No. But, I also don’t believe that i am not their target audience so that may be a reason. I do think this show is more suited for kids as were the books. This is definitely a show I think the family could watch.

The reason I continued to watch the show even though I didn’t enjoy it too much was because I read the books when i was younger, so i was interested to finish the journey. It is a little strange to see the show end at three seasons just because there was so many books. It was kind of nice finally seeing all the books come to life and that was a part I did enjoy. You can catch all three seasons on Netflix.

I hope you guys liked this post. I want to apologize for already failing my new year’s resolution. Let’s hope February is better. And as always The Show Must Go On
