So I heard about this on social media actually. I was scrolling through and then I hear about this show call the prodigal son, and immediately I was interested.
This show is about a son whose dad was a serial killer. When he is older, he has no other choice but to go back to his father to help him catch a killer. When I first saw the trailer, I was immediately intrigued. It was an interesting concept that I never seen before. A child having to grow up knowing that his father is a serial killer, and then having to go back because you need his help. I can not even imagine.
I did watch the season premiere and it was different than what i thought it would be, but I did like it. There is more going on than I thought there would be. There is more of back story between him and his dad and I am interested how they will explore that in the future episodes. The son also has some of his own things that he needs to overcome.
This show is definitely one that I will be continuing to watch this fall season. I am so use to binge watching shows on Netflix. It will be interesting to watch TV weekly again.
