Ok, now I am a lot more interested in this show.
After watching season 2, I am now fully invested in this show. I was wrong in my season 1 predictions of this show and I am glad about it. I thought Ragnor or Rollo would have probably have died by now but i was wrong.
In season 2, Lagertha becomes an earl and I was so happy. She deserved to be Earl after what she went through. There are a lot of people after Ragnor in this season. Both the Earl and the King he made alliances with soon come after him. Ragnor wasn’t going to have that.
The Earl died by blood eagle. That was painful and a lot to watch. The King was literally stupid. He wanted to do everything his way. He also didn’t want to accept that Ragnor was smarter than him and what he wanted to do with the West in England by negotiating was a good idea. I was so glad when the King died. He was stupid for trying to attack Ragnor and Ragnor finished him up real good.
From season 2, what I gathered was don’t mess with Ragnor. He seems to be destined for great things and if you get in the way of that, you will be punished. I am interested to see how their alliance with England will go. I feel it does have potential to be good but I feel like it is too good to be true. There definitely will be some back stabbing.
Predictions:
- Ragnors wife might die and he will end up back with Lagertha.
- Bjorn, will become very strong and powerful and he will be the most powerful of them all in the future but not sure when that will be.
I am only done with season 2 so we will see what happens. I am glad that I am finally getting into this series and enjoying it.
