X Files season 2 leaves me with more questions than answers.
Season 2 starts with Mulder and Scully being reassigned in different departments.The X Files department has been put to an end and they are no longer working together. Mulder is doubtful about whether there are any aliens out there and if he was making it up all in his head. He seems to be losing what he believes in and is searching for.
One big thing about this season was that Scully was abducted. We see that she was taken and impregnated but when she is found there is no baby in her. She doesn’t even remember what happened. Throughout the season we see flashes of her memory here and there but she doesn’t remember exactly what happened.
That was one thing I wish was answered. What happened when she was gone? Will they will give those answers in season 3? I still can’t believe Scully is still a bit skeptical to believe now after unexplained events have happened to her, and of things she has seen. I am like just give it up and be a 100% believer like Mulder.
While watching the show it is interesting to see how they portray the look of aliens. I feel like now we portray aliens more as technology or being able to take human form. While there are some like that in this show, the majority are the little green guy.
Let’s talk about Scully and Mulder’s relationship. I know they are close and they trust each other but they are a little too touchy feely to not become a couple. In this season especially, I feel like there has been comments regarding their relationship. It’s like there is something there but they really don’t talk about it, but they don’t get awkward about it either. I am wondering what will happen to them in the future.
At the end of the season, it ends on a cliffhanger. Mulder is searching for the truth. There are people after him and trying to stop him but he will not back down. By this time the X files department is back up and running and he lost his father for this. It seems like everything’s falling apart but he won’t let them win without a fight. I can’t wait to see what happens in season 3 and if any of my questions will be answered.
