I loved Erased so much.
I don’t really watch anime. This was definitely something different for me. I had this one on my Netflix list for a little while because I wanted to add some interesting anime to broaden my horizons.
This show follows our main character Satoru Fujinuma. He is able to go back in time. He can’t control it and he usually goes back 5 minutes in the past. When this does happen, he knows he has to try and save someone. Its so recent its almost like dejavu.
One day he walks in his apartment and finds his mother dead. Once this happens, he ends up going back 15 years in the past. This is something new because he has never gone this far back before. When he was younger some of his classmates were kidnapped and killed. To save his mother, he needs to find the man that hurt his classmates years ago.
I am so glad that I watched this show. It was so good. I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire time. I definitely had my suspicions of who the bad guy was. I loved the mystery and seeing him go back and trying to change things enough to save everyone in the future. There were some things near the end of the show that I didn’t love but overall this show was great. I would rate it a 4 out of 5.
