I was in a winter mood when I decided to give Spinning Out a watch. This ice skating show was perfect for the snowy/winter vibes.
This show is about Kat who is trying to get back into skating after she had a bad accident on the ice. She doesn’t know if she will be able to skate professionally again, until an opportunity presents itself. She can do pair skating with Justin. He needs a partner and Kat might be the person for the job. She has never done pairs but this is an opportunity to skate professionally again.
Spinning Out does tackle some serious issues on the show as well. One thing this show talks about is mental health issues. Kat deals with that while trying to handle the pressure of the ice skating world. This show deal with family relationships, romance, and the pressure of being an athlete.
I really did enjoy watching this show. I live for the drama and this show brought the dramaThe family drama was interesting. I was confused on the sister relationship in this show. It confused me because I feel like it was always changing and I didn’t always understand the sudden change in that dynamic.
I would rate this show 4 stars. I really enjoyed all the different things the show talked about in this show. Of course I loved that there was some romance. If you are in a winter mood or even if you just want some drama, you should check out Spinning Out. Unfortunately, it only has 1 season but it is a pretty good season. You can catch it on Netflix.
