So much happened in season 2 of All American and I definitely liked season 2 better than season 1.
So in season 2 here is what happened:
- Spencer’s dad died. They were ready to have a better relationship now that he was older and then the show went and killed him.
- Layla deals with depression in this season. She goes to a rehabilitation center and gets the help that she needs.
- Olivia and Asher begin dating this season. I do enjoy them as a couple so I hope that their relationship stands the test of time.
- Jordan & Simone are my new favorite couple. Simone said she was pregnant with Jordan’s baby. The baby turned out not to be Jordan’s. He ends up still helping out with Simone. In the end, they confess their feelings for each other.
- Spencer ends up getting shot this season and it affects his arm. It does affect him playing football and his future college prospects.
- Coop is called a snitch and Tyrone is out to get her. She has to watch her back and she also puts the people she loves in danger. Coop is also working on her music with Layla. They are a great duo and I am excited to see how their business relationship grows.
- At the end of this season, Spencer decides to go back to Crenshaw to save the High School. Spencer also asks Coach Baker to come to Crenshaw and be his coach.
I really enjoyed watching this season. The next season should be interesting to watch. I need to know what happens with Spencer and Crenshaw. I would rate this season 3.5 stars. It was a solid season. Keep a lookout for what I thought about season 3 in a future post.
