High Potential is a newer crime drama that has come on the scene.
High Potential is about a single mother named Morgan who is very bright and her mind works differently than other people. Because of her mind, she is able to help the police solve a case. The lieutenant thinks she will be a great asset so she hires her as a consultant.
Not everyone is happy about the decision to hire Morgan as a consultant. They see her more as a nuisance than actual help to the cases. Eventually, she does grow on everyone and they really see her as part of the team.
I really liked the team in this show and their chemistry. They all seemed to mesh really well and really did enjoy seeing them interact. This is a show that focuses on a different crime every episode. During the season there is also one mystery that is happening throughout the episodes. This mystery is about her daughter’s father. I liked that they had 1 mystery that you get bits and pieces throughout the season.
After watching this season I would give it 4 stars. I think it is a good crime drama and it has done a good job of adding some comedic moments in this show as well. I really liked this show and I am so glad that it got renewed for the 2nd season. If you are interested in their show you can catch it on ABC or Hulu.
