You season 5 is where we find out if Joe will finally get what he deserves.
In season 5 of You, Joe is back in New York and now he has power being married to Kate. We see what Joe will do with this new power he has. Joe has been getting away with what he does for years. Season 5 is the time to see if justice will be served. Joe has Kate by his side and Kate has power. Joe had never been in the public eye like this and had access to all this power. With his past, this seemed like a dangerous combination.
I really did enjoy Kate in this season. She wasn’t my favorite in the previous season but I was living for her in this season. She was a boss and was not gonna let Joe take her down with him. I really did appreciate that she was doing what she had to do to make sure Joe got what he deserves.
I didn’t love the character Bronte. Her storyline was one I didn’t really care about too much. There was a time in the show when it was kind of interesting, but then eventually I was just tired of seeing her character.
What I didn’t love was the final episode. I almost wished the episode before the finale was the last episode. I am glad that Joe got what he deserved but I didn’t love who brought the justice. Honestly the last episode, I no longer cared. I just wish it played out a bit differently.
I would give this season 3 stars. It wasn’t my favorite season but it was still decent. I think overall the show was ok, but some of the storylines I didn’t really care a lot about. This show as a whole is really good and I would highly suggest it. You can catch this show on Netflix.
