Between is a new Netflix original series. You might recognize Jennette McCurdy as one of the actresses on this show. She plays a pregnant girl named Wiley. She and many others live in a town called Pretty Lake. Recently, the town has had a terrible health epidemic. People in the town are dying and no one knows the cause of it. The town ends up being on lockdown so that no one can leave. This epidemic is causing so many problems within the town and chaos irrupts. This show on Netflix is a little different because instead of a whole season being added at once, they have episodes added weekly. The first episode is already on Netflix if you want to check it out. The next few episodes will premiere May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18 and June 28. The first episode was very interesting and it left me wanting more. This show has drama and sci-fi which is a great mix. I did enjoy watching the first episode, but having to wait for another one is agony. With Netflix, you are usually able to watch a whole season without any breaks. Now this show is changing that, you have to wait every week for a new episode. I wonder how this new type of show on Netflix will work out for them in the future, and I am excited to see what the next episodes of Between will bring.
