So I have seen so many promos to this show and I wanted to know if it would live up to the hype. The show premiered Tuesday July 11th on Freeform. I was expecting the show to be a more of a High School drama like Gossip Girl or 90210. I am glad I was wrong.
This show is about a magazine called Scarlett and the type of people that work there. It is inspired by the women that work at Cosmopolitan. This show is about empowering and inspiring women. It had a fresh feel to it and I think that is what made me like it.
I really did enjoy the first episodes. So far it has covered numerous topics like relationships, careers, friendships, and other things. I am interested in where this show will be going in the future. I liked the show a lot more than I thought and I like the main characters story lines. I think more girl power is always needed and I think this show is a great part of that.
This show will be airing on Tuesdays during the summer on Freeform. And don’t forget The Show Must Go On.
