This post is going to be about the show Black Lightning. This is one of the newer shows on The CW. Black Lightning is a about a man who took a break from being the hero but recent events made him get back into the game. What is special about this show is that it features a black superhero as the main character. He isn’t the only one either. His family may have some special powers of their own.
How is this show making history? Black Lightning had the highest rated premiere in 2 years on The CW. That is amazing! Like Grownish, these shows are making history with their premieres and they won’t be stopping there. For TV shows, this is a step in the right direction and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
Black Lightning is a a part of the DC comics universe. If you like their other superhero shows, than you should definitely check this one out. I hope you guys enjoyed this post about Black Lightning for Black History Month. And as always The Show Must Go On.
