This episode was all about getting Archie out of jail. Even though that was the main thing there were other important events happening. Spoilers ahead! if you didn’t see the most recent episode of Riverdale then you should stop reading now.
During the escape plan, they caused a distraction so that Archie was able to escape. One of my favorite parts of the show was when Mad Dog sacrificed himself to save Archie. Mad Dog was a small character but he made an impact, well at least to me. While some of the gang was helping Archie get out of jail, others were playing a dangerous game.
These kids know that students have died from this game but that doesn’t seem to phase them. It seems like not telling everyone about this game is what is causing the chaos. I believe if the parents were more upfront about what happened to them so long ago, the students of Riverdale wouldn’t be in as much trouble as they are right now. Knowing the danger, could save some of these kids lives.
As we see near the end of the episode, Josie, Kevin, and Reggie decide to play dangerous the game. They want to know what happened to their parents and what they aren’t telling them. Things are getting more dangerous by the second and it is only a matter of time until total chaos.
At the very end of the episode, Jughead sees the gargoyle King in the woods at night while he is walking home. It was almost as if the gargoyle king was waiting for him. I am interested to see how this encounter between the two of them goes and when will we find out who the gargoyle king is?
