All I have to say is I love it and it made me cry.
I love this show. I feel like this comedy is underrated and that more people should be watching this show. I recently just saw the 5th season of Schitt’s Creek and I have to say that it was one fo the more emotional seasons in my opinion.
In the 5th season, I think I saw most of the growth in this season. There were so many things going on in everyones lives. Don’t worry there was plenty of comedy but this season did get me more emotional than the others. I think the main theme of this season was starting new chapters. I will spoil some things so stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens.
Times this show made me cry this season. 1) When Alexis felt that she would miss her family when she left. 2) When David got engaged. 3) When Stevie sang her solo and realized how powerful she was. These not the only emotional moments but these were the ones that stood out.
At the end of the season, Alexis decides to put someone else before herself and goes to the Galapagos with her boyfriend. David gets engaged and finds the love of his life. Also Stevie, she isn’t a part of the Rose family but you also see her doing some growing up in this season. I think she becomes more confident in herself and I love Stevie.
I am sad that it will be ending with season 6, but interested to see how they will end the season.
