The Last Dance: A Docuseries on The Chicago Bulls

When I saw The Last Dance was a documentary series about the Chicago Bulls, I needed to give it a watch.

The Last Dance is a documentary series about the Chicago Bulls team in 1997. This show takes a look at the whole team but there are some players that it focuses on. Some of the main players are Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Michael Jordan. We also see the coach for this team which was Phil Jackson. In this series, we see this team going for a 6th NBA title and the whole journey they went on.

I do have to say a lot of it was focused on Michael Jordan but that is what I expected. You don’t really talk about the Chicago Bulls without talking about Michael Jordan. We learn about him but we also learn about the other players as well and their background on the game of basketball. You also get to see the drama that happened on and off the court between players and other teams.

I didn’t know anything about the Chicago Bulls or any of the players besides Michael Jordan. Watching this series I felt like I learned a lot about the players and about this specific team. I watched most of the series with my dad and throughout every episode he would be, “I remember this happening” and some other commentary here and there. To me, it made it more interesting to hear his point of view on the events of the show as well.

I really enjoyed watching The Last Dance. I would give it a 4 out of 5. When I saw this show come out, it made me want to learn and know more about this team. I watched it on ESPN but it is currently on Netflix. If you are a sports fan, I would suggest giving this show a watch. It is 10 episodes so it is a great show to watch on the weekend. If you have seen the series, then let me know what you think.
