I decided to watch another show in a different language. The Gran Hotel is in Spanish and it is a great show to watch.
This show starts out with Julio going to the Gran Hotel to visit his sister who works as a maid there. When he gets there, he finds out his sister has disappeared. He decided to become a waiter at the same hotel where his sister went missing. He does end up making some friends and they try to help him find out what happened to his sister.When he tries to find out the truth about his sister, many other dark secrets about the hotel begin to come out.
I really did enjoy watching this show. The first season for me was a little harder to get into. When it first started, I was really into it. Then midway through the season, it was dragging a bit and took me a while to get back into it. When I reached the 2nd and 3rd season, I felt that the show picked up more and I couldn’t stop watching.
I absolutely loved the character Andres and I felt like he deserved so much better. He was one of the sweetest people and he didn’t have any good luck throughout the show. I felt like every time he picked himself up or was happy, then something bad happened. It was like his happiness couldn’t last for too long.
Also Sofia’s character, I felt like she got off really easy in the show. She murdered 2 people and did not go to jail for either of them. She put her husband through so much as well. I think she was let off easy in the show.
Overall, I did enjoy the show. It has a total of 3 seasons and is a great show to watch during this fall season. I think I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5. It has mystery, crime, and tons of drama. If you have seen this show, what did you think?
