When I found out that Lincoln heights was on Hulu, I had to give it a watch.
This show is about a family who decides to move to a new house in Lincoln heights as a plan to revamp the neighborhood. When this was on TV, I never watched it from the very beginning. I got into it a bit later and watched toward the end. Rewatching it, brought back a lot of memories. It was so nice to sit and watch a show that I haven’t seen in so long.
There was a lot I forgot since it had been so long. It aired from 2007 – 2009, it has been over 10 years. I still did enjoy watching the show and this family adjust to life in a new neighborhood. One thing I didn’t love this time around was Cassie and Charles. Their relationship seemed to have so much drama for no reason. Sometimes I was like, I love them but a lot of the time I was “someone come get these high schoolers.” I think that was the thing that bothered me the most. Majority of the time I did enjoy watching it. I completely forgot that Chadwick Boseman was in this show as well. It was bittersweet to see him. He will be forever missed.
This show has four seasons and is currently on Hulu. It isn’t a long watch because each season is about 10 episodes long and each episode is about 45 minutes. Have you seen Lincoln Heights? What did you think?
