Binge watching X Files is a commitment
X Files was a TV show someone recommended to me. I don’t think I would have checked this show out otherwise. After watching the 1st episode, I was hooked. It felt like the first episode was shot like a movie a little bit.
After seeing the first episode, I was wondering how they would continue the rest of the season. Initially, I thought it would only be about alien encounters but it wasn’t and I was happy about that. X Files started 1993 so it was older and that was what I loved about beginning this show.
If you do not know what X files is about, here is some more info for you. Fox Mulder is the believer and Dana Scully is the skeptic or more of a realist. Mulder believes there are aliens out there. Scully doesn’t believe in any of this stuff and believes there is a logical explanation for everything. Every time something out of the ordinary happens, Mulder sees it but Scully always happens to miss it. Since she isn’t seeing what he is, she isn’t opening her mind to unexplainable reasons why some of these cases are happening.
As the season progresses, we do see her believe a little more. By the end, she sees evidence she can not deny. The season ends with them shutting down the x files department. I wonder what will happen in season 2. With no x files department, where will the season go?
I am interested to see if the Mulder & Scully’s relationship will go anywhere. They seem very comfortable with each other so soon. I want to see if they will be a couple or not in future seasons. Season 2 seems like it will be interesting. I wonder where Scully & Mulder will be. This show has definitely captured my attention and I can’t wait to see the rest of the seasons.
