We start this season off with Janet in her new apartment with Gerald one of her best friends. She is finally living on her own and her parents are now empty nesters. They are both getting used to their new living situations.
Also, in season 2 Shannon has a boyfriend named Alejandro. He seems like the perfect guy and Jung doesn’t like that. He seems to like Shannon but is he too late? This was a relationship I didn’t really see coming in season 2. I thought Shannon’s feeling were one sided but now we have Jung having feelings for Shannon.
I feel like in the final episodes we always get the biggest drama or most emotion. So Jung and his father are kind of talking to each other. They texted each other and had a drink . Unfortunately, at the end of this season we see them get into another argument and it seems to put back the progress they had made.
Janet went through it this season. She was dating a guy named Raj. Then, he gets engaged while they were still seeing each other. Like sir, how you gonna date me and propose to someone else. That is not how this works. Not only has she been broken hearted but she is also trying to get her paren’t attention. It seems like they only really give Jung the attention and reward him for doing things she has already done because she is the good one.
Shannon and Jung kiss. Yes they kiss. First I was like awww. Then I was like girl don’t you have a boyfriend. Well she shut it down saying that her and Alejandro are in a good place and she doesn’t want to mess that up.
Jung also applied for a new job. He did get the job as a new manager at another car rental place. Then he got a call that they rescinded their offer. He finds out his best friend and roommate Kimchee was promoted to his old job. Jung was so happy for him and doesn’t tell Kimchee he no longer has a job. I am interested to see what happens, and what job he ends up doing in season 3.
A lot happened in this season and I am interested to see more. I did like the season more than season 1.
