Blogmas Day 5! This was the episode that started my love for the show.
When I first heard of the office, I was not interested at all. It didn’t seem like it was for me. A lot of times, I don’t like comedies. They are hit or miss for me. The reason I even watched The Office was because I think It came on after a show I was watching on TV and I just didn’t change the channel.
Safety Training was the first episode I watched. It is when Michael is trying to prove to everyone that working in an office is just as dangerous as working in the warehouse. It is an episode I do recommend but this isn’t my favorite one.
I wasn’t really paying attention too much but the line that changed everything was when Jim said “I think I’m going to bring my parents to the matinee” or something along those lines. That line mad me laugh so hard when he said that. I decided that maybe I should pay attention and I might actually like this show.
After that episode, I became a huge fan. I love The Office. It is one of my favorite shows and I can rewatch it over and over. I know it is not for everyone, and that is fine. There are some comedy shows that other people love that I just don’t. The Office is a popular show and I love almost everything about it.
If I am ever sad I know if I throw on The Office, I will be happy and laughing in minutes. I am glad I took a chance on the show because its added a few more laughs to my life. If your very first episode of the show wasn’t the pilot episode, then what was the first episode you saw?
