Maxton Hall is a new teen show that does it right.
Maxton Hall is a show that takes place at a prestigious private school. Ruby stumbles upon a student and a teacher in an inappropriate position. James does everything he can so that Ruby does not say anything about what she saw. This is where these two begin to become each others enemies.
I had so a great time watching Maxton Hall. It is your classic enemies to lovers, but the people behind this show did such a good job. I loved the direction they took with this show and decisions they made with certain scenes. There were a lot of things where they could have been predictable. The way the show went it felt different than other teen shows and I loved that.
The chemistry between Ruby and James was there from the beginning. I absolutely loved seeing them on screen together. There were so many great scenes with the two of them. There were sweet little moments like how they looked at each other. Scenes like that take a good show to a great show. From the trailer, I expected something a little different, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I watched.
I would give Maxton Hall 5 stars. I loved this so much and I am planning on watching it again. If you love romance, this is a show you have to watch. I am so happy that it got renewed for a 2nd season. I am hoping to get answers to some of the questions I have after that last episode. If you have seen the show what did you think?
