1 Week In England: Visiting Bridgerton & Ted Lasso Filming Locations

Here is how I spent my week in England and the filming locations I saw.

Earlier this year I took a trip to England. We happened to plan the trip right around the time Bridgerton season 3 was coming out. Of course I had to check out some Bridgerton filming locations. We also were able to check out some places where Ted Lasso was filmed as well. Here is how I spent my week in England.

Day 1 – We landed in Heathrow airport and took a bus to Bristol. It was a beautiful city and this was our first time here so we mostly walked around and enjoyed the city. There were these very colorful houses and we walked along the water and enjoyed the views.

Day 2 – We had breakfast in Bristol and then took a bus to Bath. We stayed in the central area of Bath. It was absolutely beautiful. We walked around and did a little sightseeing.  We visited places like Pulteney Bridge and we made sure to get some milk tea with scones.

Day 3 – In the morning, we decided to check out the stores and do a little shopping. We then took a hike up to Alexandra Park.  If you want a great view of the city, you should definitely do this hike.

Then in the afternoon we had our tour of the Bridgerton locations. We did a guided tour of the Bridgerton filming locations. Our guide had pictures of the show for reference when we reached each location. It was one of my favorite things we did on this trip.

They film a lot in Bath for the outside shots. We saw the outside of the Featherington house, the streets of Bridgerton, and also the street where we saw the Duke for the first time in Bridgerton. There are many options for Bridgerton tours. I booked our tour on Viator and it was a simple walking tour that was about 1 hr.

Day 4 – We got some breakfast then took a train to London. Once we got to London, we visited The Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew. Then we made our way over to Richmond. Richmond is a cute little town in London. This is also where Ted Lasso was filmed. We didn’t do a tour for this,  but there are tours available. We got some souvenirs and visited the pub that is featured in the show. At the end of the day, we walked through the city and along Westminster Bridge.

Day 5 – We walked through the city of London and did some shopping. We then did a high tea and visited Buckingham palace. This was also the day when the new season of Bridgerton came out. So during the evening, I watched the new season of the show.

Day 6 – This was our last day in London. We decided to visit a tea house and ended up passing right by The Black Dog pub. Then we made our way to Cecil court and visited the bookstores on this street. Then we had a nice dinner to finish up our day.

Day 7 – We left London and flew back home.

That is how I spent my week in London. This was my second time in the city so we didn’t do too many tourist attractions this time around. It was nice visiting a few places I haven’t seen before. I loved seeing the filming locations for Bridgerton and Ted Lasso. Both places had tours available. If you are on a budget, you can do a self guided tour for either place.

I can’t wait to see where I will go next.
