Season 2 of The Night Agent was action packed.
In Season 2, Peter is no longer at a desk answering the phone. He is now a night agent on the other side. The mission that he is on now has taken a turn for the worse. He goes MIA to figure out what happened and to figure out what went wrong. He has to find out who on his team he can trust.
Season 2 we get to see Peter be a night agent. I wish we got to see a little bit more into how the night agent system worked. Rose was in season 2 and I was glad that she was back. It almost felt like she should become a part of the team. Maybe that could be an option for the next season.
We had a few new characters come into this season as well. I like watching Noor’s storyline. It did have its really sad moments, but really enjoyed the addition of Noor this season. Another character that interested me was Monroe. He is more like the new villain of this season. He was pulling a lot of strings and it seems like he will be a big part of season 3.
There were some things I liked about season 2, but I didn’t like it as much as season 1. All the storylines that were happening didn’t feel like they connected. It felt a little bit all over the place. Season 2 felt like a set up for season 3. It felt more like a filler season.
Season 2 was just an average season to me. I would give it 3 stars. It was a fine season but not as good as season 1. The way that season 2 ended it does look like season 3 will be a very interesting season. I wonder what next season will bring.
