With my schedule not being as busy, I have been checking out new shows. One of these shows is Girl Boss. This is a Netflix original and it is loosely based on a true story. If you have ever heard of the website Nasty Gal, than you might know this woman. Sophia Amoroso is who the show is based on. She started an Ebay vintage clothing business and the rest is history.
In the show, you see how her life was like before and how she got started on Ebay. Then you see how she went from Ebay to Nasty Gal. I really enjoyed watching this show. It is all about doing something that you love even when others may doubt you. One thing that I really like about this show is how she doesn’t let authority intimidate her. This may get her in some trouble but overall, it is who she is and how she ended where she is.
Britt Robertson does amazing in this role. I have seen her in so many other roles but this one seems a bit different. I think this part was just made for her. One thing that is good about this show is that success doesn’t come easy. It takes a lot of work and even when you get there you still need to work hard at it.
