This is going to be the last Black History Month Post.
I know its sad but don’t worry there will be more next year. The next person that will talk about is Oprah Winfrey. I decided to save the best for last.
Oprah Winfrey is best know for The Oprah Winfrey Show and that was only the beginning for her. This show changed lives and broke records. Her show has been one of the highest rated in its time. She is sometimes called the Queen of all Media.
How did she and how is she continuously making history? Well, she is the richest African American. She also became the first black millionaire in North America. She worked and kept grinding until she made it to the top and never stopped once she got there. She became a household name and now has her OWN channel. Did you see what I did there?
With all her fame, she still gives back. With the Oprah Winfrey Foundation, she gives millions of dollars to the community. Oprah is one of the most famous people in the world. She has paved a way for many African Americans and she is still making a difference today.
