I remember being in college and a couple of us would go out to the main common area to watch Once Upon A Time come on every week. This show has ended a while ago and I am finally getting around to finishing it.
Why did it take me so long to finish? I really enjoyed it when it started out and I couldn’t get enough. Then it started to take a turn where I lost interest. I wasn’t into it anymore, the storyline I felt wasn’t as good when it got to season 5 and 6. I finished season 5 previously, but I had to watch the last 2 seasons on Netflix.
I have to admit, it was a bit hard to get through the 6th season when I was trying to finish the series. I was not interested in it as much as I thought I would be. I thought that I would have the same feeling for season 7 but strangely enough I didn’t. I found myself getting more and more interested. In season 7, that is when they brought in almost a whole new cast. They kept some familiar faces but the story revolved around some new people this time around. I think that is why I was more interested because of the new faces.
The ending I thought was ok. I don’t know why but I thought it was too happy. It is a fairytale show so the ending was suppose to be extra happy. Overall, I really do like this show. It did lag for me a bit in some seasons but I really liked how it started.
If you enjoy fairytales, or a twist on some classics. I would suggest you giving this show a try. Currently all 7 seasons are on Netflix and you can binge to your hearts content.
