Here are some teen shows recommendations that are currently on Netflix.
It is around back to school season. Usually around this time, I like to recommend some teen or school shows to watch. I will be listing 6 Teen shows that I enjoyed watching that are all on Netflix too.
- Locke & Key – This show is about the 3 Locke children who move to their fathers childhood home after he dies. This house is not ordinary. It has special keys and each one has a different power. The Locke kids need to protect the keys from those who want to use it for evil. There is only 1 season on Netflix but is getting renewed for a 2nd. It is in the fantasy genre, so if that is what you are into then you should give this show a try.
- On My Block – This is about 4 friends who are starting high school. They try to figure out this new chapter of their lives. The bond and trust they have are definitely tested in this show. This is a great teen comedy to watch about friendship and being there for each other no matter what. There are currently 3 seasons on Netflix you can go and watch.
- Outer Banks – This show is about 4 friends in high school who stumble upon an adventure. They need to work together to find this buried treasure. The problem is they are not the only ones after it. There are dangerous people who are willing to do anything for it. This show currently has 1 season on Netflix but has been officially renewed for season 2. If you love teens dramas, I would recommend you give this show a try.
- Never Have I Ever – This show follows a girl who wants to change her high school reputation. She is looking to start this new year of high school the right way. It doesn’t end up going how she planned. This is another comedy show. It currently has 1 season on Netflix.
My next 2 shows are in different languages. I love watching shows from all over the world. I figured I would add them in case someone was interested.
- Accidentally in Love – This is a Chinese show. In this show, A girl runs away from home so she doesn’t have to get married. She decides to go to school and changes her look so it will be harder to find. At this school there is a famous singer that all the girls go crazy for. These 2 characters do not like each other when they first meet. Eventually, that does change. This show only has 1 season but it is a cute romance show to watch. If you are looking for something light and not a whole lot of drama, maybe this is a show you will like.
- Elite – This is a spanish show. While they were at school, one of their classmates was murdered. During this show, the police are interviewing the students to figure out what happened and who is the killer. Throughout the show we see the events that led up to that night. This is a more of an adult teen show but it is really good and currently has 3 seasons. If you like a mystery and tons of drama, you will enjoy this show.
