Bridgerton Season 2: Better Than Season 1?

So I watched Bridgerton season 2 in 1 day. I cleared my weekend to binge watch the 2nd season of one of my favorite shows and It did not disappoint.

In season 2, we follow the love story of the eldest Bridgerton Anthony. He is ready to find someone to marry to fulfill his duty as a Viscount. Anthony is not looking for love but more of a companion that can help him run a household.

He wants the best and once the queen names the diamond of the season Edwina Sharma, he knows she is the one that will become his Viscountess. At least that’s what he thought, but he must get the approval of her older sister who is Kate Sharma.

Kate finds out why Anthony really wants to marry and she does not want that for her sister. She wants Edwina as far from Anthony as possible. Anthony does not like defeat and he will do anything to get Edwina to marry him. That means he needs to make sure Kate gives him her blessing.

Edwina likes Anthony and beggs Kate to at least give him a chance. The more that Kate and Anthony try to get along for Edwina they begin to see more sides of each other. They start to ask themselves is it really hate they feel for each other, or something more?

I really loved watching Kate and Anthony in this season. It is different from season 1, it is more of a slow burn. If you are into that then you may like this season better than the first one. It is a love triangle with sisters and the 1 man they both have fallen for. I also feel like I got to see more of the Bridgerton siblings in this season and I really loved that. We also get some more insight in the featherington family and let me say that Lady featherington does not disappoint.

If you have read the books, this season will not follow the book as much as the first season did. I do wish that certain details in the book would have been a little bit closer to how it happened in the book. I do want to let you know the changes they did make, makes for good TV and kept me on the edge of my seat.

You can catch the 2nd season of Bridgerton on Netflix. I give this 5 stars. I absolutely loved the 2nd season as much as the first. Maybe even more. If you have season 2, what did you think?
