So much happened in season 5 of All American and I have a lot of thoughts.
In season 5 of All American, Olivia publishes an article about GAU football. This article affects Jordan and Spencer and their college football team. What their coach did will unfortunately come and hurt their team.
Another big surprise in season 5 is that Asher is having a kid. I was not expecting that at all. I really like Jamie and Asher together so I am excited to see them go on this journey and how much their lives will change in season 6.
The biggest surprise in my opinion was the death of Billy Baker. I was not expecting that at all. No one warned me that this would happen. I was in absolute shock and also in denial. I couldn’t believe that Coach Baker would no longer be on the show. It was sad because he seemed to be in a good place and then this happened.
In the Finale, It was mostly focused on the future of the couples. Jordan and Layla are officially a couple and Jordan proposes to her and she says yes. Spencer and Olivia have been in a weird place this season. They are not together but still have feelings for each other. Spencer goes to the airport and tells Oliva how he feels before she goes to London for an internship. Coop realizes she wants to be with Patience. At the very end of the episode, Patience ends up getting stabbed by her super obsessed fan.
So much happened in that final episode. For the 5th season, I would rate this season as 4 stars. I really enjoyed watching it. I had a better time than I expected watching this show. The later seasons of All American I liked more than the earlier ones. I think if you like football this may be a show you would be into. As the series as a whole I think I would give it 4 stars. It is a really good show.
