Mr. & Mrs. Smith follows two strangers who are placed together as a married couple to complete dangerous missions.
In Mr. & Mrs. Smith, our two main characters are John and Jane. They have never met but not they have been paired together. These two strangers have to appear as if they are married. They live together and they also complete dangerous assignments together. The longer that they are together, the lines begin to blur on what is real and what isn’t.
I really like this take on Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I originally saw the movie with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. So I was thinking it may be somewhat like that, but I loved the direction that the show went. It was interesting to see two complete strangers forced to live and work together and see what would happen.
I also like the mystery of their boss. I liked not having a face or name to it. It made it seem more mysterious. They don’t really know anything about the company that is in charge of everything. I think that makes it an even more dangerous situation.
It is an action show, but I love the comedy moments as well in the show. To see the relationship between the two characters go from strangers to lovers was quite a journey. A lot of the tense moments in their relationship felt very real. It felt very raw and I think it added another level to the show.
I really enjoyed this show and I love action romance. I would give this show 4 stars. It is definitely one I would recommend. I hope there is a 2nd season. It was too good not to have another. You can catch this show on Prime if you want to check it out. If you have seen it, what did you think?
