Zero Chill is a show about a family that moved to England because their son Mac got an opportunity to join a great hockey team. It follows the family’s adjustment to this move. His Sister Kayla figure skates as a pair. After moving, she has to figure out her next steps in skating in this new country.
I thought it was interesting that the show started with them already in England and Mac on the new team. I expected them to start a little before and then show the family decide to move to another country. That was something that I did not expect. It does focus on the sibling relationship as well, and how this big move affects both of them.
I didn’t love this show. The acting could have been better. I liked Sky’s character and I think she was a good actor. Other than her, I think others could have been better. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Kayla. For most of the show, I didn’t really care about her storyline either. That may be one reason, I didn’t enjoy her character
After watching this show, I would give it 2 stars. It was an okay TV show, but I didn’t love it. I think the idea was good and interesting. It was the reason I wanted to watch in the first place. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up enjoying it. If you did see this show, what did you think?
