There are so many shows this year and I try to watch what I can. This year I watched some new shows and expanded my horizons. Many of the ones I got into this year were in different languages. There are so many more options out there when you don’t limit it to your language. Here are some of the shows I really enjoyed this year.
Ashes of Love: It was one of the first Asian dramas that I watched and I think that it started it all. Once I saw this, I couldn’t stop trying out new shows that weren’t in my language. This show is more of a fantasy but it has war, love and drama. Basically, it has everything I love.
Well Intended Love: This was another Asian drama that I watched. This one was more romanced based. Another one of my favorite genres. This is kind of like opposites attract and an unlikely relationship is formed. I really liked it and it was one of my favorites. There were some plot twist in there but I didn’t mind them.
The Umbrella Academy: I think this I loved the most. I love superheroes and the end of the world type shows. I also think that is had some humor in it. There were definitely some characters that brought humor to the show and made it that more enjoyable. The character dynamics are great and the show is also amazing.
