I originally wasn’t interested in this show. I wasn’t even going to watch it. I am not really into reality TV shows and I don’t watch a lot of competition shows either. As you can tell that changed.
Well me and a bunch of my friends were hanging out and one of them asked if any of us has watched The Circle. We all said no and she said we had to watch it tonight. So we gathered in front of the TV and then she put on the first episode. As soon as it was over all of us said, “play the next episode!”
I was glued to the TV. I couldn’t stop watching the show and when one episode was over, we said “next episode!” We did that until we fell asleep with the show still on. We were up till about 3:00 AM watching and I couldn’t wait to see more. When we started watching, I think there were 6 episodes out. After we woke up the next morning, my friend told me that they come out weekly. I decided to watch till they all dropped and finish the season. Let me tell you that it was hard. Finally all episodes dropped, and I needed to see who would win The Circle.
I think this show did a really good job of taking the this show and ending each episode on some really good cliff hangers. That is what kept me glued to the TV. They did so well with the show and making me want to know what will happen next.
To me the show reminded me of the show Big Brother. It seemed similar to trying to gain popularity and then voting each other off. I think this concept of a competition show is definitely putting a spin on it. In the circle, you don’t have to see anyone and you get to be anyone you want because they can’t see you.
I think the final 5 were some of my favorite players and they deserved to be at the end. I think Seaburn being his girlfriend Rebecca as one of my favorite parts. He was most of the entertaining to watch in my opinion.
If you haven’t seen The Circle, you should watch it. Especially if you are into competition shows, you will probably enjoy this. All the episodes have dropped so you can binge watch the show on Netflix.
