I was in the break room and my coworker and I found out that we both watch Crash Landing On You. We were so happy that we had found someone else that watched it. As we were talking she mentioned a lot of shows but one she said I had to watch was The Princess Weiyong.
This show is about a princess whose family gets murdered and the home is destroyed. She then takes on a new identify to take her revenge. She must find all the ones who were responsible for her losing everything. Things do get a bit complicated when her heart gets in the way.
I definitely think that the storyline is really good. Just hearing about it made me want to see it. When I started watching it, I couldn’t really get into it. Then all of a sudden, I couldn’t stop watching. The only thing I didn’t like was Tuo Ba Yu. I hated his character so much. Which means, that he was doing a good job since I really didn’t like the villain. When I got near the end of the episodes, all I wanted was his character to die.
I think this is a good show and it more of a period piece. If you enjoy shows like that, that are a historical drama you will most likely like this one. This wasn’t my favorite but I thought it was pretty good. It is a Chinese Drama so you will probably need subtitles. It is currently on Netflix if you wanted to give it a watch. And remember The Show Must Go On.
