My Secret Romance is a Korean show about a one night stand that turns into something more.
This show is about a man and woman who meet each other, hang out and end up having a one night stand. After 3 years, they end up seeing each other again. He is the head of the company and she becomes the company’s nutritionist. When they see each other, there are some mixed feelings. They soon discover they may have more than a connection than just that one night.
In this show, we see how the first encounter has affected each of them. Song Ji Eun tries so hard in her everyday life to not be like her eccentric mother and to make sure no one sees her that way. She also tries desperately to make sure no one finds out that she has had a one night stand. Cha Jin-wook ends up focusing only his work. He doesn’t care about anything else. He even puts work before his own health. You can tell that when they met, they had an impact on each other’s lives.
What I thought about the show was that it was ok. I didn’t love it. There were some parts that were definitely really cute but I think I would rate it like a 3 out of 5. It wasn’t my favorite but was an ok watch. There are some episodes I would give another watch. It isn’t the highest quality produced show but it is cute so I would suggest you give it a chance. If you are lookin for something light to watch and you like romance, this may be a show for you.
