I loved watching this show! This show is romance with so much drama and plot twists everywhere.
I found this show on Tik Tok recommended by @sdpoumayma. She has a lot of other Turkish dramas on her account so I may give another one a watch.
Siyah Beyaz Aşk is a Turkish drama that focuses around Alsi and Ferhat. Asli is a doctor and Ferhat is a dangerous mafia boss. Alsi ends up seeing something she isn’t supposed to. Ferhat is then ordered to kill her. Ferhat decides to give her a choice. Either he kills her or she marries him. She decides that she will marry him to protect herself and her brother.
Asli does try to run away and go to the police but Ferhat threatens her and says if she does, he will kill her brother. Ferhat is very controlling in the beginning and tells her she can not do certain things, so he can make sure she doesn’t cause any trouble. Asli does not give up, she still tries to find a way out. Through all the time they spend together they begin to have feelings for each other and have a deeper connection. One thing I absolutely loved about this show was seeing their relationship develop. It was nice to see them grow as individuals and as a couple.
This show does not only have romance but a whole lot of drama. If you are ready to see plot twists at every corner, then this is the show for you. There is back stabbing, murder, secret children, long lost relatives, family drama and so much more. It was a lot and sometimes I needed to take a break cause my heart couldn’t handle it all.
Siyah Beyaz Aşk has a total of 32 episodes. Each episode is about 2 hours long so this is a real commitment. I think it is completely worth it. There are definitely some things I loved about this show and other things I did not love. Overall, I think it was a great show to watch.
If you like enemies to lovers, or bad boy and good girl romance then you will probably like this show. I absolutely loved the chemistry between the 2 main characters. It was so good and that is why I think the show is amazing. This has become one of my favorites for the year. If you like romance, I highly recommend giving this show a watch.
