So much happened in season 3 of Vikings.
My favorite part was when they went to Paris. I think those episodes were really good and I loved the battles scenes. This has been my favorite season so far. I was really into it and I couldn’t stop watching.
We did lose some main characters in this season. Siggy dies saving Ragnar’s sons from drowning. After she saves, them she ends up drowning. Athelstan dies in this season as well. He was murdered and his death was hard to handle by Ragnar.
In this season, they decide to go and raid Paris. This was a lot harder than I think they all realized. Paris was not going to go without a fight. I think those episodes were really good and I loved the battles scenes. This has been my favorite season so far. I was really into it and I couldn’t stop watching. When Ragnar was dying, I was like there is no way. Then I kind of believed it but then I stopped believing it when they were walking into Paris and I was thinking that this was a trojan horse type of situation. I was right! When Ragnar jumped out of that casket, I was excited. He made sure his people could get into the city.
At the end of the season, Paris is making a deal with Rollo. They will give him a title and the hand of marriage of the princess. In return, he has to help them defeat the vikings. I think Rollo will marry the princess. It was said he would marry a princess earlier in the season, so that is what I think he will go through with it. In my opinion, I don’t think he will go against his brother. Even though he feels like he always compared to him, i don’t think he will betray him.
Floki, I haven’t liked him for a while. I think he is very obsessive lately, more than usual. He thinks he knows everything, but I do think he is letting his own agenda cloud his judgment. Since Ragnar knows he killed Athelstan, I honestly don’t think he will last too much longer in the next season.
Lastly, Can we talk about how Ragnor has another son by the queen in Mercia. I’m just like dude come on, we get it you are gonna have so many sons. I am interested to see what with happen when northerners and Wessex meet again. I think it will be a big battle.
What I think will happen: I don’t think Rollo could go against his brother and his people. He was offered a deal, but I think he will stick by Ragnar. I think Ragnar might kill Floki. I also think the Vikings will come back to Wessex in this season. That is an interaction I have been wanting to see.
I can’t wait to see what will happen in season 4.
