This is Us did it again!
*Spoilers Ahead*
How does This Is Us make me cry every episode? They did it again and made it amazing. This last episode of this season was the one about the wedding of Kevin and Madison.
I have really grown to love Madison’s character. I was excited to see Madison and Kevin get married and start a life together. Leading up to this episode it was a will they or won’t they. There had been some signs before the big day on whether this wedding would happen. Their love story was different but they were running towards it.
I wanted to believe they loved each other and would get married. Unfortunately, that was not the case. If Madison didn’t call it off, Kevin really would have went through even though he didn’t love her. I think he was so obsessed with having a family and wife, he would do anything to make it seem perfect. Madison was brave to take a step back. She wanted to be loved and we can’t blame her for that.
The ending though. I wasn’t ready for that. I couldn’t believe Kate is getting married again. Toby and Kate were amazing together and I loved them. I thought they complimented each other so well and I couldn’t believe when I saw her in a wedding dress again that this was another wedding and not to Toby. I love Toby. This is Us ripped my heart out. I am not ready to see that relationship come to an end.
Season 6 will be the final season. I am excited and sad to see this story end. I am interested to see how everything ties together in the end. It will be a sad goodbye but I am glad I got to get to know these characters.
