Blogmas Day 13!
This year I have really been getting more into reading. I decided to bring that into my love for TV. I read some books based on TV shows this year. I was comparing the books based on the TV that was adapted from them. II had a lot of fun reading them and I plan on doing even more next year. It was interesting to me to see what they decided to keep in the show and what they decided to remove. I like to pretend that if i was making the show or even a movie based on a book what I would get rid of, or what seems not as essential to still tell the story.
After all the books I read, my favorite book series this year was the Bridgerton series. Some of you may not be surprised, because i won’t shut up about this particular show. If you didn’t know already, Bridgerton was one of my favorite shows I have watched. Immediately, I had to read all the books this show was based on. After reading the series and watching the first season, I do think the show was better.
This series consists of 8 books and each one focuses on each of the Bridgerton siblings. I am a huge fan of romance and getting to see each sibling fall in love was the best. I did a whole video of the book series so I will link that below for you. I do think the books were good, but I feel the show was able to expand on the story a lot more and I think that only added to the books. I am excited to see what the future seasons will be like and if they will be better than the books as well.
