X Files season 5 leaves us with a lot of unanswered questions.
In season 5, a lot happens that I did not expect. We find out that Dana has a daughter. In a previous episode, we knew she was pregnant in a previous season when she had gotten abducted. In this season, we finally see what I believe was the child she was pregnant with. Can you imagine finding out that you have a child without the recollection of ever being pregnant?
It was also sad that she finds out she has a kid and then realizes her daughter’s life is coming to an end. That was definitely a sad part of this season. She wanted to adopt her and raise her and get to know this girl who was hers. She had dreams and those were cut short when she had to say goodbye to her cause the girl was dying. I felt bad for Dana and hope she will get a chance to have a kid later.
At the end of the season. I feel that we were left with more questions then answers. In the last episode of the season, Mulder finds out the cigarette smoking man is still alive. Of course this man is causing trouble for Mulder because he always does. We also find out the the cigarette man has a son!?!?!? Like why are we just finding out this now? It also looks like his son found out the same time we did. I am interested to see what happens to that relationship in the future.
At the very end of the season, we see the Mulder’s office that has all the x files going up in flames. The look on his face was so sad when he sees this happen. He is seeing his work being burned and there is nothing he can do about it. I want to know what will happen in the next season. The final question I have is, Is it the end of x files?
