X Files Season 6 gives and then it takes away
For the 1st half of the season, Dana and Mulder are not on X Files. The are taken off it and made to do background checks.
I have been waiting and waiting and we finally see Mulder & Dana finally kiss. Unfortunately it was in a past episode so they technically didn’t kiss each other. I thought finally we will stop with this slow burn but no, not yet. In the 2nd half of the season after a big event, They are now put back on the X files. I am happy to see them back where they belong.
Dana and Mulder seem to have feelings for each other but not admitting their feelings. You can tell from the first season that there was an attraction between them. This season they seem to be more open to their feelings for each other but not ready to act on them. Still, we see them only as friends and nothing more, for now.
Finally near the end of the season, Mulder got a little fed up with Dana at one point. He says every time I say something I am right over 90% of the time. You always come with your science explanation and we go back and forth and I end up being right. I wish you would give me the benefit of the doubt after all this time. I have said this since the beginning. Dana always doubts Mulder and he is usually right. She needs to start being more open.
This season did end on another cliffhanger. At the end, Mulder is now in a psych ward because something happened to him during the last case for this season. Scully doesn’t know who to trust and is trying to find answers so that she can help him.
