Business Proposal was one of my favorite shows I watched this year.
Shin Ha-ri goes on a blind date for her best friend to scare the potential suitor away. This is where she meets Kang Tae-moo. She does everything to sabotage the date for her friend so that Kang Tae-moo will not want to see her again. After the date, she thinks she did a job well done. Well, turns out it doesn’t go as well as she had hoped. It turns out Kang Tae-moo wants to continue to date her. Also, she finds out that Kang Tae-moo is actually her boss. So you can say she and her friend are in a sticky situation.
Kang Tae-moo makes her an offer. He asks her to pretend to date him to get his grandfather off his back. So she has to pretend to date this guy to trick his grandfather. She also has to make sure that he doesn’t realize who she really is because that could put her job in danger.
We also get a cute romance from the side couple as well. Jin Young-seo who is Shin Ha-ri’ best friend. Also known as the woman who was originally supposed to go on the blind date. Cha Hung-Soon who is Kang Tae-moo’s assistant but is more like a brother. Between these two you get a 2nd romance story. Can I just say, their journey is amazing. I loved seeing this relationship develop.
Between the four of them, there are many secrets. When certain things come to light it definitely affects the relationships between the four of them. I liked seeing all four of them in this show and I hope this isn’t the last time we see them. The season ended fine but there were a few things I wanted to see. I desperately want a season 2 and to see what happens to these 4 characters in the future.
If you are looking for a romance TV show or a new K drama to watch, I highly suggest giving this show a watch. I absolutely loved watching it. If you have seen Business Proposal, what did you think?
