Outer Banks is a teen drama that I didn’t know I needed. Netflix came out with a show called Outer Banks and as soon as the trailer dropped, I knew it was something I would want to see.
In the show, you meet John B and his friends. They stumble upon an empty boat in the water and find clues to missing treasure. This is the same treasure that John B’s dad was searching for when he ended up lost at sea. They soon realize they are not the only ones that are not looking for it. There are people that are willing to kill to get their hands on it. This brings more trouble than they expected
Outer Banks has some romance, adventure and even murder. While watching the show, it reminded me a little bit of an older version of the Goonies. I was thinking what to compare it to and The Goonies always popped in my head mixed with One Tree Hill or Dawson’s Creek.
I really liked Outer Banks. The beginning was good but once you get to the last episodes they take it to a whole other level that I wasn’t expecting. It I would give it 4.5 out of 5. If you are looking for a good teen show, I suggest checking this one out. I am even thinking about giving it a rewatch because I enjoyed it that much. If you have seen the show, what did you think?
