Hey! Hey! Hey!
So, as you can see from the title I will be talking about This is Us. This show has been an emotional roller coaster ride for me and I love it. This show has become one of my favorites and I am loving how they are revealing certain things and telling the story.
*Spoilers ahead*
I thought the first episode of this season wouldn’t be that bad. I thought they would ease us into the season a bit more. Well, I thought wrong. By the end of the episode, my eyes were watering up and I was trying to push back the tears. The end is what got me though. I didn’t expect them to mention Jack’s death so soon but I was wrong about that too.
Some of the scenes that were the most memorable to me were when Rebecca told Jack to get in the car. He was willing to stay away so that he could get himself together for his family. Even though he was persuasive, she told him to get in the car because they will work on it together. This is why I love them, that scene was amazing. The end scene is when I couldn’t hold it in. When they showed the house and Rebecca was crying, I was done. I was definitely not expecting it to be a fire. If this is what happened in the first episode, then I need to prepare myself for the season.
