Here is what I thought of Vikings season 1.
I am binge watching the Vikings and I decided to break down after each season on what I think. I may give some predictions at what I think might happen.
So I was pretty excited to watch this. I heard good things and was interested in what it would be like. It took me longer to watch the first season than I expected. I couldn’t really get into the show that much. To me it was slow for me to get into, i feel a lot wasn’t happening in the beginning and didn’t keep my interest. As the season went on it was better, but still not the most interesting to me.
In season 1, we are introduced to everyone and they were focused on sailing west. The have never been west and Ragnar was to lead a ship there to find riches. Not everyone is excited about this adventure and causes conflict.
I am interested to see what will happen in season 2. A lot of things happened at the end of the 1st season and I am interested to see how they are resolved or what will happen in season 2.
Rollo and Ragnar, I think one of them will be dying. I am not sure if it will happen in season 2 but I think they will eventually battle against each other and one will fall. I think Ragnar will have some more bad things happen to him and the people around him. With status and power, he will have to pay a price he may not be ready for yet.
Overall, season 1 was okay. I am about to start season 2 so I am hoping this will be better than the first season.
