I loved watching the 1st season of Bridgerton that I decided to read all the books in the series. Below are the books and a brief description of each one.
The Duke and I – Daphne and Simon enter into a fake relationship to help each other out. While they are pretending, things begin to feel real.
The Viscount Who Loved Me – Anthony is ready to get married but not for love. He decides he wants Edwina to be his wife. Kate who is her older sister hates Anthony and will do anything to keep her sister away from him.
An Offer From A Gentleman – Benedict meets a mysterious woman at a masquerade ball. He is instantly in love. The problem is, he doesn’t know who she is.
Romancing Mister Bridgerton – Penelope and Collin have been friends for so long. Now that they are older Collin begin to sees Penelope in a different light.
To Sir Philip With Love – Eloise has been writing to a man and he then proposes marriage. She doesn’t want to marry someone she has not met. Once they meet, they could not be more different.
When He Was Wicked – Michael is a rake but when he took one look at Francesca he fell in love. Unfortunately, she was to be married to his cousin.
It’s In His Kiss – Gareth has an old family diary but can not translate it. He meets Hyacinth and she is able to translate his diary and reveal his family’s secrets.
On The Way To The Wedding – Gregory thinks he is in love with the beautiful Hermione. He soon realizes its Hermione’s best friend Lucinda who he loves. But can he confess his love before it is too late?
I enjoyed reading all these books. The are 8 in total and each one focuses on a different Bridgerton. I hope with the TV series we get to see each Bridgerton sibling fall in love as well. If you like romance, I would suggest giving these books a try.
